PARTING

The most important thing is love

Farewell photography is more than just taking photos, it is also a way to capture love and connection.

Whether it concerns a funeral, memorial services, or other intimate farewell moments that precede the final farewell, I am there to support you in a respectful and honest manner. I provide timeless images that you can cherish.

Parting

Saying goodbye to someone you love is intense. Filled with emotions and impressions, you focus your attention on the farewell and the people standing next to you. You want to hold this last moment in the here and now with your loved one in your heart.

As a farewell photographer, I create a tangible memory of the farewell in all its facets.

My focus is not only on the ceremony and you as a family, but also on valuable moments and details that might otherwise remain underexposed. Every farewell carries a unique story. My dedication to capturing the essence of the farewell and the atmosphere ensures that the photos have lasting meaning.

Farewell photography includes more than just the funeral. My involvement can even begin before death.

A beautiful photo of a loved one during life can be the starting point of a farewell report or a memory book.

The realization of capturing photos at a farewell is not self-evident for many. But photos offer the opportunity to look back later, when you are ready. They capture the love, warmth and connection of the farewell, even the moments you may have missed.

Method

01
Contact

We have a contract before the photo shoot. It is nice to speak to each other and get to know your wishes and any special considerations. This could be nice for you too.

Together we look at the location where the photos will be taken: at your home, at the farewell meeting, in nature or in a place that is meaningful to you.

02 Together

Because there is a lot to deal with, especially after a death, contact can also be made through your funeral director, depending on what you prefer. The funeral director and I ensure that I am informed. This way you have one point of contact.

03 Offers

Together with you and/or in collaboration with the funeral director, I can make a tailor-made quotation, translating your wishes as respectfully as possible into a photo report with an eye for detail and atmosphere. The costs for a farewell report may be reimbursed by your funeral insurance. Your funeral director or insurance advisor can provide more information about this.

04 Love

Memory shoot During the photo shoot, the focus is not on being ill, but rather on the loving bond that you share. I take group photos, different combinations and capture many spontaneous moments to create a valuable report.

FuneralFarewell photography offers a lasting memory of the funeral. My focus is not on the sadness, but on the love that is shared during the farewell. During the farewell I will be as inconspicuous as possible.

05 Photo's

You will receive a wide selection of digital photo files within 14 days after the farewell report or photo shoot. These files only go to you or to you via your funeral director.

06
Album

The highlights of the photo report come together in a small mini book with a beautiful velvet cover. If you wish, you can always carry this book with you in a handbag or place it in a memory corner in your home.

It is also possible to have a larger album made. Such an album can help with processing and make a valuable contribution to the grieving process. I like to put together this album together so that the most important photos get a place.
